Not exactly sure.
Running a 3 man front against it would be stupid.
Lol, maybe tell all the coaches that are blowing it up running the 3-3 to do what the 5 man fronts who are losing to them is what they should do. The Wing T wants things packed in, you are playing into their hands doing it. Seen it happen too many times. It ain’t the 60s anymore. Speed kills the rugby scrum of the Wing T.

My high school team ran the wing T. Don't need an education thanks. This was in the early 2000s.

And if you were a small school it probably gave you some success with the 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Especially since the 3-3 was not ran at that time. Maybe the big high school, college and nfl coaches are just not bright enough to run it? Probably it.

Why are you being arrogant about this? It was a hypothetical. No one is saying they know better but you.

The 3-3 was specifically designed to stop the spread offense. It is disadvantaged against a power run scheme.

Wait, Tech walk-ons get 25k? Jeesh
$25k per player for all 85 scholarship guys and for 20 preferred walk-ons (105 total). Starting this summer they're adding the remaining guys on the roster so it'll be $25k each for all 120 guys. Of course they aren't prohibited from signing any additional NIL deals, and many do.

It has made a noticeable difference in the quality of walk-ons coming in, including being able to pull guys like Terrell Tilmon out of the portal into PWO slots when you didn't have a scholarship to give at the moment.

SMU is paying mid $40k base per player, though I believe it's scholarship only.

Piggybacking on track times discussion. There's a guy named Ernest Campbell at Refugio HS in Texas, he might be the fastest 2024 kid in the state, and he's playing 2a football (lowest 11-man classification). It's hysterical to watch him. He's crazy shifty, too.

Forgot to mention, Tech sees Thompson as a field CB.

Holy crap that's getting close to Olympic time at 10.58.
Not even close. It took about that to qualify for D3 nationals this year and would have ranked him 393 in D1. While he's fast for Iowa HS, it is not that fast in the track world. Also, going from 10.5 to 10.4 is harder than going from 11.0 to 10.5.

Back to Sama, I'm super excited to see what he can do at ISU. He's going to work hard and I hope he has a healthy career to see if he can achieve his truest potential.
