Those of you who follow me on Twitter have already seen this, but I thought it would be neat to share this in advance of the Jack Trice throwback game against Iowa. While Lori and I were in Iowa last week, I'm pretty sure we unearthed a picture of Jack Trice in game action. I'm still working on the provenance of the picture, but I feel pretty good about this one. Since there are hardly any pictures of Jack, this will be really cool if it pans out.

The thing about research is, every time I learn something new about Jack, I go back through all of my "old research" and comb back through everything to see if the new information sparks some additional insights. As we restart our blog tomorrow, this is an example of a story that will be on my blog this fall.

Had a blast meeting many of you last week in Iowa. Look for our final giveaway contest on Cyclone Fanatic to start on Sunday.

Great to meet you in person on Saturday. Can't wait to see the photo of Jack Trice that you have discovered.

Josh, are you planning any Trice/#37 type shirts? I love the blanket and new shirts can't wait to get them in the mail!

To all other fanatics, my family had the pleasure to meet Josh and his wife last week and they are two of the nicest most genuine people you could ever meet. They are doing great work to tell the forgotten stories of cyclone past. I hope you all consider getting shirts and/or a blanket, they are really great products! The Kagavi/Pendleton blankets are the kind of thing you will pass on to your great grandkids.

My grandfather used to buy Pendleton shirts because they last forever. That combined with Josh's cool Trice design it is certainly a collectors item. So keep up the great work Josh & Lori, I for one appreciate all you are doing!
