Tickets go on sale this Friday. Anyone ever opted for VIP? Was wondering if it's worth the extra dough. April 4th is the first lineup announcement. Hoping for some big bands for the 10th year.

I'm going to go with an absolute no on that one.
I'm guessing that 80/35 will only be a once in 5 years festival going forward and Daft Punk will be the only act this year.
All I saw were the worst pair of jean shorts since 1982 and a guy that needs to eat a steak every now and again.
DAFT Punk would never in a gazillion years play this festival, let alone the amount of money it would take them to perform is probably 3 years worth of the budget.
They are touring right now (just dropped a new album) and they don't have any dates scheduled during 80/35.
Both solid bands. Shins have grown on me over the years.
Sorry I gotta ask, what years were you in school? those bands together cover a span of like 15 years
