Well the NCAA tournament bracket was announced - only Texas and Baylor from the Big 12.
Notable is that UNLV, with ex-ISU asst Dawn Sullivan is in it; they are also 12-0.

The field was reduced this season from 64 to 48 but only two B12 teams is notable and illustrates the growing gap between UT/BU and the rest of the B12. Also interesting that UNI nosedived this season and didn’t come close to qualifying. They appear to have setter issues thus their engagement with Jenna Brandt. And the ongoing ISU program nosedive is likely related to Dawn Sullivan’s departure to UNLV.
And any word on who is going to set for ISU this fall? Is Mauck going use her extra year of eligibility, a transfer import or will CJL hang her hat on the non schollie frosh, Heidemann.

Got to have at least two setters on the roster so I am assuming CJL brings in a transfer.
ICYMI, the all B12 VB teams were named last week. Holthaus made 1st team and Herrera made 2nd team. No other ISU players were mentioned. And the FOY is KSU’s Aliyah Carter from Dubuque who also made the first team. I have no idea if Carter was vigorously recruited by ISU but if not, it certainly helps explains the downward trend of the program.
