All,

On Jan 31st, runbikeswim messaged me to let me know that he was entering hospice care (at around age 50) with only a small hope of recovery. He asked that I give him a shoutout on the wbb board when he was gone. I can't confirm anything -- I know limited personal details about him -- but his last login was Feb 6th so I fear it's that time.

Thanks,
mred

Well, that sucks. :(

Been awhile but used to exchange emails and messages with him. He actually used to scout some for ISU WBB in the past. He had some interesting inside info that he didn't share here and I kept that to myself after we "chatted". He previously posted as Twistedredbird.

What a valued and insightful poster runbikeswim was! This is terrible news. Always read every post he had - for good reason. I too exchanged messages with him, and looked forward to perhaps meeting him someday. Thought and prayers.
