Not my cup of tea but the fair needed this badly. Music selections have been awful and aimed almost solely at older crowds.
I think it obviously will sell out.

Interesting. I saw them when they played Wells Fargo. It was a hell of a show.

Hmmmm very interested. When do tickets normally go on sale for fair concerts?

Doesn’t slipknot appeal to a pretty old crowd now too?

I would say they have a broad appeal anywhere from people that are now pushing 50 all the way to today’s teens. They have tentacles that reach out all over as well with the side projects.

Slipknot has huge appeal at a lot of age ranges. Kind of one of the few bands to have that. That is why they stick around.

Not a Slipknot fan but I am shocked it took this long to get them there. Actually kind of sad in a way.

Really want to go to this. Last grandstand concert I saw was Paramore with the wife last year so this would be on the opposite end of the target demographic spectrum.

Don't get grandstand tickets if you want to be able to see the band. Since they remodeled last year, the stage has been moved back probably 30-40 yards from where it use to be and you end up watching the TV screens on the sides since the singers appear so small. Get the floor / standing area tickets in front of the stage.

Something tells me I might not want those for this performance...
