Breakfast & golf tomorrow morning I guess. Keeping ESPN+ has been a good move this spring/summer from a PGA golf standpoint.

Any debate there was about golfer of the year has been put to rest.
Very cool tournament this weekend. I know it’s not a deep field all things considered, but the cream rose to the top on a great track. Given the purse for the event was $0 it was a reminder of what golf and sport is all about. Scottie wiping away tears at the end of the anthem was awesome.

Even crazier. Kuchar who wasn't in contention to win, decides not to finish 18 because of darkness. His 2 playing partners did (Greyserman). Kuchar gets to come out tomorrow and finish 18 from rough after wayward tee shot.

How can you elect to just not finish? That's seriously the rule? There isn't some kind of organizing body that decides when to blow the horn?

Can you imagine in baseball if a pitcher just decided it was too cold or too rainy to play?

I read that a rules official told their group that they could keep playing or they could suspend due to darkness, even though the horn hadn't blown.

We all love Kuch but this pretty much sums up what a doosch move this is. No surprise from Billy hohos reaction to Rai’s victory how much having good vibes in your group leads to good play

I could see that if he was in contention and could win with a birdie or something. Really didn't make sense at all.

His par on the last got him an extra like $70k, I don't know if he stopped because the conditions made it harder to finish, but if he did then it kinda makes sense.

I was listening to PGA Sirius XM today. Someone was claiming that by saying he was done yesterday, Kuchar was trying to encourage Greyserman to also finish the round today and give himself a better chance to force a playoff. Or that he was allowing the others to finish before it go too dark by stopping, because it was going to take a while for him to deal with his drop situation.
