This is a multi, multi million dollar industry. I don't expect anyone to win a lawsuit, but getting some of these people under oath is a good thing. Make them explain the reasoning that 111 other bracketologist couldn't come up with. Make the UNC AD talk about his financial incentive.
I mean… if you think this sees the inside of a courtroom, depositions, etc, then you are going to be disappointed. There is zero legal grounds for WVU to stand on. It’s a committee that all schools and conferences agreed would decide these competely subjective selections. Not liking the results isn’t reason enough to sue.

So, assuming DeVries is the next coach at Iowa, and also assuming this has been in the works for months, just how "season ending" was Tuckers injury? Were they holding him back to play for Iowa? It all smells kind of fishy to me and I'd be super pi##ed if I were a WV fan.

I'm all for it. They couldn't even keep their stories straight last night. One of them even said it was because of Tucker Devries being injured even though he hasn't played since December 6th.

West Virignia still ended up with more Q1 wins without him than UNC did the entire year.
Sports are life and death right!!!

Politicians need to stay out of it. The school signed up to play under the NCAA banner so they can adhere to the results.

Teams have been snubbed from the beginning, it’s nothing new

Agreed. Unless they put out written guidelines that they have to follow, this will happen forever.

WV is hardly the first and won’t be the last to get snubbed.

I'm absolutely sympathetic to WV getting screwed out of the NCAA tournament, but you know what might have made a gigantic difference, or at least would have made the argument more credible? Not losing to a dead last place Colorado in the Big 12 tournament. While Big 12 tournament games had no impact on ISU's final seeding, WV losing to Colorado absolutely contributed to them getting snubbed for UNC.

I’m fairly certain his should is/was in rough shape. He had surgery on his right shoulder at the end of season last year and the again on the same shoulder this year.

So the injury is legit, but I’d be concerned about just how well he’ll comeback and if it’ll hold up in a full power conference season.

It was his 2nd or 3rd procedure on that shoulder. The injury was legit.

If this has been in the works for months, it would be funny with all the hawk fans crying about tampering with Freeman.

Is there going to be an official March Madness thread? The first game had a dramatic ending. Alabama St with the lucky bounce their way.
