Yeah there has been a huge dip in attendance this year. It doesn't make much sense as they pretty much had full houses for most of their games last couple of years. IThis year most of the games have been about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Huge drop off in interest is puzzling.

No shead(?) to create the buzz? ISU fans are unusually committed to their team compared to individual players. With their ranking and record it would be pretty damn full in Hilton.

No shead, starting out the season with a few losses instead of undefeated when they came to Ames in January, last year was the first year being in a major conference so the buzz from that has fallen off, honestly there's a bunch of reasons Houston would drop attendance this year.

Not sure how this specific game will unfold, but Nebraska is having a decent season, by historic standard.

Rutgers is/was a massive overhype train.

AP voters who had Rutgers ranked in Top 25 preseason:

Rutgers current vs. NET
Q1: 0-6
Q2: 3-0
Q3: 0-2
Q4: 6-0

Admission: I had Rutgers as 8/9-ish seed in preseason bracketing. So I was close to equally dumb.

Yeah I saw Nebbie was up there earlier for Kenpom Defensive ratings but they've given up some points lately.

That was a bad loss last night.

Rutgers has some dudes but the way they played (I fell asleep) was real disjointed.

Couple of quad 3 losses for the Big 10 tonight.
All three Top 25 teams who played last night lost road games.

- #16 Gonzaga at Oregon State (#61 on kenpom, #58 on NET)
- #18 Memphis at Temple (#106 on kenpom, #123 on NET)
- #20 Michigan at Gophers (#99 on kenpom, #137 on NET)

Oregon State's not terrible but those are pretty bad losses for Memphis and Michigan even on the road.

Hate to see it.
