If I'm Brooklyn I trade him wherever I want (if there's no clauses).
Trade him to OKC to make it real weird.

OKC could give the best trade package I’m sure. Would probably help change peoples perception of KD as well. Kinda like when Lebron went back to Cleveland. And we all know how important it is to KD that people like him.

Anthony Davis was traded to LA for Ingram, Lonzo, Josh Hart, the number 4 pick in 2019 as well as picks/swaps in 2022, 2023, 2024 (or 25).,
AD only had one year left.

No way should the Nets not get significantly more for 4 years of Durant.

I saw the first four words and thought AD had been traded tonight, lol

Lakers going after some real big names (Damian Jones, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Lonnie Walker and Troy Brown), lol

Davis only had the one year left and made it clear he wasn't going to re-sign with the Pelicans though. They were in a tougher spot than Brooklyn. It's actually remarkable in hindsight how much the Pelicans were able to extract in return given the situation.

I definitely think the Pels won that trade. They just signed Zion to a supermax and I'm a little unsure what to think of that because he seems to be going down a Greg Oden path but what do you do?
I think a great fit there would have been a vet like PJ Tucker. He's an annoying a hole but plays hard and harasses the other team. It looks like PJ signed with the Sixers though.

Probably worse considering the money differences between the two times.

Yeah, I had never heard of this dude, and he just got like $50 million a year didn't he?

$25M/year, he's not a great fit in Portland next to Dame with how small he is but he's a really good shooter. Averaged 23/6 on 43% 3 point shooting from January on at age 22. Portland couldn't just let him walk for nothing and he would have had similar offers from other teams.
