They got a lot of credit for beating Villanova and North Carolina early, I think FSU was rated when they beat them as well. This would be their best win of the year by far.

I think they also get a lot of credit for winning the National Title last year. Its all about perception. I guarantee if ISU lost back to back home games this week and ranked #1 (and one was against a .500 team and bottom of the big12) we would have been booted from the Top 10.

This is one reason why ISU nutcups are made specifically for the fans.

I do believe Purdue and Arizona are overrated, Arizona more so. Arizona beat a #4 Michigan team, an unranked Illinois team, but lost to #19 Tennessee, and then had their first games against USC/UCLA postponed. Their high rankings probably have more to do with teams ahead of them losing.

We'll find out a little more about Arizona soon - 3 road games in a 6-day span (Stanford, Cal, UCLA rescheduled game). After that, home vs ASU (probable win) then home v UCLA.

I've seen WVU a few times this year. They aren't the typical WVU team and seem to kind of give up if they get down big. They look lost against Baylor right now...down 16 at the moment.

Just tuned in to Baylor-WVU but probably won't watch much of it says like this.

Agreed. But I don't mind Baylor blowing them out on the road. We need some teams to start nosediving and separating to the back of the pack a bit. Also nice to see winning in Morgantown is completely plausible based on what I have seen in a few games this year.

Anybody understand these goofy ass NET rankings? How is Texas several spots ahead of ISU. Texas is 0-4 v quad 1, 4-0 v quad 2, 0-0 v quad 3 and 9-0 vs quad 4

ISU is 5-3, 1-0, 0-0, and 8-0.
Iowa is ahead of ISU in net rankings. ISU is 4-2 against the top 20 in net, while Iowa is 0-4. Makes perfect sense.
