My uncle will be watching Field of Dreams today. Don't think he follows baseball closely, but that is his opening day tradition.

As a White Sox fan...Opening Day might as well be tomorrow morning when I check my phone! The White Sox playing a night game in Anaheim will mean I may be asleep by the end of the 2nd inning!

Yankees attendance is 20% at 10,000 +/- and.....

"Temperature checks will be conducted prior to entry and proof of a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test within 72 hours of the event is required."

Thought I misheard that when they talked about in the telecast but looked it up and nope they are doing it like airline travel.

Opening day flashback. Or. don't put too much into first games.

1977, opening day and the ex-Astro Jimmy (the Toy Cannon) Wynn was DH for the Yankees. Homered. Boxster is thinking "I'm going to like this guy". Went on to hit .143 and was released before the All-Star break. Was the last homer he ever hit.

My interest in MLB took another hit today with the commish deciding to move the All Star game because of politics. I watch sports in hopes that I can get away from all the political crap and baseball is now deciding to get in the middle of it.
