Well, Valley is 1-2 for the first time since Nam, so who knows. It does seem that he's getting exposed by Iowa 4A high schools though.

I think it is more an issue with the Valley o-line. Even Valley's running back Williams is having an off season. It also must be pretty tough for a new quarterback to step in a few weeks before the season starts.

Valley & Dowling offensive lines always seem to dominate their opponents and this season they look on par. Not sure if the other CIML schools are catching up or covid impact their off-season programs.

IMO SE Polk is the elite team in 4A. Might be the most talented team since the Dowling teams with Ryan Boyle.

Sounds like Jim Bonifas the ISU OL recruit from Dubuque Senior has been having a great senior year. He is also playing DL this year and has been making some big plays.

SEP is legit. A lot of young kids on that team too. An example...left tackle is a 6’7” 290 pound sophomore, and he’s athletic.

While I'm all for it, I'm curious what could have changed in the past few weeks.

I think it’s because of the Ankeny kid. He was ruled ineligible so the Association had to apply the same standards to the other transfers.
