Schwarber is under also.

Hard to believe given how those three player's bats factored in the 2016 World Series run.

Three important players below the Mendoza line in September and the Cubs are still in first place.
And the much maligned Jason Heyward is carrying the load for the Cubs...

Did they say postgame why KS was benched last night? The TV guys were to whimpy to ask during the game.
Ross said he wanted to keep the reason in house. But it was most definitely because he played that should of been double to the left corner lazy. They discussed the stats on it last night, but there is like 1 triple per year hit to left field in Wrigley, and the way it happened last night was not how it typically happens.

Actually they did ask during the game and both Ian and Rossie both just said Schwarber is fine. They declined to elaborate on what went down.

I'm curious too. I wonder if his frustration boiled over and he melted down and Ross said he was in no shape to play and took him out.

I thought the TV guys only asked during the game if KS was injured. When Ross said he was OK, they let it go with --"Oh, OK, manager decision."
