Read the comments...I think it's cute Missourians think they're midwesterners too.

I think being a slave state back in the day automatically disqualifies them. Now we know why the SEC took them...

I thought all the bitchy comments from/about Missouri were amusing in their own (not complimentary) way. Never heard of 'padiddle.' I used to say 'pop' until I moved to CA and got made fun of for it. It's been 'soda' ever since.

Got me thinkin' bought Trip Shakespeare's Snow Day. It doesn't get more Minnesotan than that. Can't link to youtube unfortunately.

"Mrs. Braintree you're a chilly northern woman, go home from yonder bustop, there's a blessing on the ground."

How far does the midwest go?

    Ohio on the east?
    Nebraska on the west?
    Canada on the north?
    Missouri on the south?

East doesn't want Ohio and neither does the midwest. But here is a fun fact. Columbus, Ohio is more east than Atlanta. Seriously.

Oh, I definitely know what a padiddle is, and the "dashboard double-tap to windshield back to dashboard" hand movement.
