Wow, big star with big NFL potential opts out. Huge blow to the Gophers if we indeed have a season this fall.

Rashod Bateman, a star receiver for the Gophers, has opted out for this season because of the pandemic and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, according to his social media accounts.

“I am now making the hardest decision that I have ever had to make in my life,” Bateman said in the video.

That really sucks for Minnesota; I feel bad for them.

I understand why he's doing it, but I wish he either would have stuck around or taken the year off and come back next year to play for them

Brock seems like the last person to do this to his team.

Has there ever been a more glaring beacon to these kids that cfb is just a business and they are just the line cooks in the hierarchy than what we’ve seen so far in 2020?

Hawkeyes catch a break there. I wish Chuba would sit out.

It’s laughable that you would refer to that as “to his team.” MLB can’t even protect their players. Every college football player should be opting out.

I guess Bateman and Moore didn't want to be shut down by Riley Moss this season. I can understand that.
