    The only thing delusional and laughable is ISU fans talking about football. #momentum. #forward. It has happened only twice, BTW. One of which was that "weak bowl tie-in" of the B1G to the Orange Bowl.

    Nope. Iowa played extremely hard. The defense carried them as far as they could but got zero help from the offense. This sort of thing happens from time to time when your team is good enough to also play other good teams in bowl games in January.

    Yup. You are right. This ISU board and ISU AD talking about January bowl games being meaningless has nothing to do with ISU. Unfortunately we may never get to see ISU fans tout January bowl games. It makes me laugh that ISU fans use some MAC bowl game to try to discredit Iowa's January bowl...

    So you admit that a mediocre year for the Hawks equals the best bowl game in the history of the ISU football program (that came 35 years ago and resulted in a blowout) and you think that is helping your case? You must be confused.

    At what point during your typing do you stop and think "ISU's best bowl ever was the insight bowl" and rethink your post. Clearly it should have been sooner. Hate on Dan McCarney making a January bowl game all you want, but the Outback Bowl is legit and always has been.

    What did they say? That he wore a trash can at practice? That is a fact. It also seems to be the common story that DJK was told to carry it and decided to "wear" it on his own. Maybe City Boyz Inc. can weigh in too.
