Honeymoon destinations?
I just had my honeymoon in Bora Bora in November. It was unbelievable. Better then I expected, likely the best destination in the world, and I'm also well traveled. -

where to get a suit
I ended up going with a Men's Wearhouse suit. Went on interviews with 5 companies, got 3 offers. No one cared about the suit at all. And looking back on it, why would they? As long as you look like you can follow business standards, your qualifications are what set you apart.- purify

ISU vs. Missouri Engineering
I work with Rolla and Mizzou grads, I get the impression Rolla is considered the better engineering school. I think ISU is better at EE, ME, and ChemE then Rolla. -

I got to work on the team for 2 semesters a year ago, great guys. It's incredible how much these guys are dedicated to the team. Coming in 2nd is a huge accomplishment. Congrats to the squad.- purify

Back from Prometheus
It broke him down to a DNA level and was basically the start of human beings. I thought the movie was very good. I had no idea that it was affiliated with Alien until the very last scene, perhaps that why I could just sit back and enjoy it. -

Cell Phone Options?
I have net10 which is similar to straight talk but more expensive. I love it, saves a ton of money, and now you can get a sim card for $15, and can use the service on an Iphone. My biggest issue is calling overseas, you have to buy a seperate card for it. not a big deal for most people though. -

Who goes home for college, who stays in town?
I spent the last two summers in Ames, but I kind of wish I would have gone home. I had to work fulltime to afford living expenses. If I was at home I would have been able to just relax. -

when you get your grades. I have friends who are in danger of not passing, and that seems so nerve racking. I'm fine, I know I got A's in 2 of my classes, and just need to pass 1 of my other 2 to graduate. I think I'll get a B+/B in one, A- in the other, so it would have to be catastrophic...- purify

GPA's are stupid and pointless!
Actually ISU engineering is significantly better then Iowa. But agreed on everything else. But there is a big problem with grade inflation. Grades, in general, have trended up in the last 30 years. Yet students say they put less hours studying over the last 30 years. I think professors and... -

If you are an employer who would you pick to hire?
4.0's generally go to grad school though, and in that arena a 2.5 doesn't have a chance.
