    Places to watch the game in Cedar Rapids

    This might have been answered already, but does anyone know of any places to watch the game in Cedar Rapids? I figured there aren't too many places to watch since its Hawks Country over here.

    Bye Week

    Who else wishes we had a bye week this season? I think with 9 conference games coming next season, a bye week is essential. I watched the replay the other night of the OSU game last season and the guys showed very little motivation in that game. I hope we do not see that happen again this season...

    Funnel Drill

    That drill seemed like it was set up for the offense to succeed! Blockers downfield before the whistle is ever blown to start. Plus a little holding (but that happens every play anyway).

    worried about the LB's next year

    I see the linebackers being down out at the beginning of the year but they'll be just fine after one or two games. the lb'ers that will be starting/playing next year got quite a bit of experience this year. Anybody see Knott catch the Minnesota player on the fake punt before he faceplanted...

    Yeah I really feel comfortable having a redshirt freshman (with very little experience, if any) playing texas, oklahoma, iowa, texas tech.

    Ya, Knott should have been redshirted. His 6 tackles show that he isn't ready to contribute right now. Same with A.J.'s 2/3 tackles.

    Linebacker depth and progression

    Why wouldn't we want Knott, or any of the new linebackers to get alot of experience? I really think Knott can contribute this year in some way or another. FYI, he qualified for long jump with a 20-09. Quite a jump for someone that big.
