    Great kick off, very well spoken and honest. He did not bite on some of the question that he did not know such as defensive formation. Hit nail on head on re ruining, need players to be successful. I'm excited.

    I'm all for stability in the program, still think we needed a hire with more experience. Doc was the defensive mind in the huddle and Freddy the offense.

    Congrats to the nearly 20,000 clone fans that traveled.

    Made the trip with my sixteen year old son, enjoyed tailgating with friends. Game is another story, can't recall last time I was so disappointed. There was no fire on the field, players and coaches were too tight. Disappointed with product on field, fans held their own team did not.

    The best part about all this......

    Let's enjoy the win until Saturday, we cannot get blown away by the sooners. If we show up and get mandanled by the soones all the positive publicity will be lost. We also need to stop comparing ourselves with the chokeyes, we have our own identity. It's good to be a cyclone, go state:cool:

    MLB: Next Cubs Manager??

    Here is a thought, Cubs hire Torre for two years along with Sandberg as bench coach (or what ever high profile assistant you want to call the position), give Sandberg a couple years and he will be ready to manage the team, he needs some managing experience in the biggs. :cool:

    Has your expectations changed for this season?

    Hate to say it but the game saturday showed what 11 years of coaching consistency will bring to a program. We've had 3 coaches in the last 5 years, there is a lot to be said for stability. Let's hope we found our keeper and start building a solid program.

    Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. We have a young inexperienced coach who will make mistakes as he grows up. My biggest concern is no coaching experience.
