    team iowa didn't smoke team usa or even win the match. If i calculated it right Team USA beat Team Iowa 32-20, but that is a good effort for the Iowa wrestlers.     i would hoipe they would get rid of the wristbands, but would find a happy medium if they kept them and charged us the 5 dollars for the weekend, but didn't keep a set limit on how many ppl can go to the concert.

    Veenker or Coldwater are pry the nicest within Ames, Honey Creek was just built or at least in the past 5-8 years so it is still fairly young and hasn't developed like others have, the Harvester is really nice which is just outside of Rhodes.

    Going to a golf camp quite a ways back i actually got to play with him. He was unbelievable and would have made the PGA circuit pretty easy. very impressive kid and golfer

    What's with all the Iowa State students/grads who aren't Cyclone fans?

    from my previous experiences i would say that most of my friends were hawk fans growing up and went to ISU for the great Engineering program, design program, turf, and all the other majors we have that are nationally known.

    the most excitment would have to be our wrestling program, winning the big 12 again and only coming 6 seconds from taking 2nd at Natoinals is a pretty good feat.     i guess i feel pretty lucky, i have spent a few summers in georgia and oklahoma and never have been sun burnt. i never really get that white during the winter which might explain this but it can however hot days can get and i never have gotten sun burnt.

    Red Sox fan first and then since I was in Chicago over the summer, am starting to follow the Cubs quite a bit more after watching quite a bit of their games at Wrigley.
