For the top, elite wrestlers from the state, yes. Its been a huge problem for Rutgers. But, Weaver is not that. Rutgers gets their success off the 2nd/3rd tier NJ recruits (except for Suriano and Ashnault), which Weaver is. I just don’t view this as a huge miss. -

I won't downplay the lack of big recruits so far this fall, but this one isn't surprising. A NJ kid stayed home and chose Rutgers. Trying to take a kid out of NJ is a known challenge, and they tried. Not viewing it as a huge negative to hold against the staff though. -
