I prefer to see Prohm recruit a balance between sit out two year guys and freshman. The two year guys bring the experience. Long term it seems the best way to go to build a pipeline of players providing depth at all positions. The fifth year transfers seem to throw a wrench in expectations...
I think Shayok and Jacobson pounding Lard and Young in the paint will reap great rewards. Beat some Big 12 sense into those young boys can't hurt at all.
I know the Cyclones are heading in the right direction when the scout team is capable of beating the starters on occasion. With Shayok and Jacobson on scout that's bound to happen.

I don't think Prohm is saying he won't fill the scholly. He's saying in order for me to do that I want someone far above what I already have to make an immediate impact.
