    ISU's Demarion Watson is "stronger" and "smarter" while playing key role off the bench

    He has a very real ceiling of how much he can play due to his nonexistent offense. Playing teams like Houston he'll get more minutes. Games where we need to score a lot he's not gonna play much and Pav will be more useful.

    He's good now. It always cracked me up during his first year when they were doing remote broadcasts due to covid and his partner would consistently wear a suit and dress shirt and tie and King would be there in a hoodie.

    I think that if you endlessly message how great it will be to end 8-5, what a big boost that would be for the program, how important it is to be there for it, etc., you can't really have any complaints about people taking you at your word and therefore being upset when the team instead comes out...

    I think this is kind of the crux of the issue. All of the CF staff on various podcasts repeatedly said this; Jamie used it as a selling point. You can't really be surprised at or blame people for reacting this way when they have been told this repeatedly.

    I kind of feel like a consequence of people saying "oh it's a bowl game, it doesn't matter if you get blown out" might be fewer fans continuing to show up, no? Paying to watch something you are told doesn't matter is gonna have diminishing returns.

    Omaha will be back here next season. He'll be amazing before he's gone but if the game is too fast for him vs. Prairie View A&M he is gonna struggle to sign with a G League team for much money and will not develop enough to get money for consecutive years.

    I think he, Lipsey, and Pav maybe had 3 turnovers in a row? And then Omaha had one and came out immediately. That stretch was so brutal. Totally agreed that Pav's second half energy in particular really pushed us. I am a big fan of the kid and he feels like a key to us being at our best this...
