I know the big dance has most of our attention but I wanted to get a league going this spring. I gauged some interest earlier and i think we have could start on teams. Looks like we have 9 people in already, so thats a great start. I would be happy to set up a league (i prefer ESPN's format). Was last season's a season long Roto league? Sounds like people would prefer H2H, which I agree is more fun. I've only played points before but I'm not opposed to...- bkassel

As a Braves fan, I am fully aware that play did not cost us the game. Poor hitting and untimely errors hurt us...- bkassel

Cocost CLOSED?!?!
damn. loved me so cocost. black pepper beef, extra spicy. used to get it so often, the guy would practically have it ready when I walked in. even recognized me after i moved to DSM for a year. pouring one out for my cocost homies. -
Road bike suggestions?
Surly Cross-Check is a great bike. May be pricey for a starter bike but that frame will last until the apocalypse. Trek makes decent bikes and good components. Marin and Cannondale also good stuff. if you're in ames, I love skunk river cycles. Talk to them, let them know your price range... -

Any car mechanics out there?
hub bearing assembly or drum brake (assuming it is a drum) best to get that looked at. your wheel (rim and tire) can and will fall off if you don't take care of it. (ask me how I know) -
