    I think the illegal pick that happened about a foot in front of the ref that gave Baylor a first down was also blatantly bad. The WR straight tackled the DB trailing Sims - it was 3rd & 6 early in the 3rd quarter and it extended the Baylor drive.

    Ok I’ll say it. How is this any different from any other year? Slow start. A loss to Iowa we shouldn’t have. Offense feels like it went into regression. This is the typical ISU start to a season. I’d say we are right on track. Looks to be another good year!

    I think it was simply a wording issue between ISU-Baylor-and the Big12. ISU called them tents instead of cover-ups. If they had only said cover-ups I’m sure Baylor and the Big12 would have been fine with allowing as many as they needed. Especially for football.

    Don’t know if the Purdy lack of running was on purpose or not. Perhaps they are simply trying out 4 running backs to see who takes the position and told Purdy to hand it off so they could evaluate? Purdy is a known asset, why run the crap out of him if you have 4 RB’s your on the fence about?

    ISU opens as 14 point favorite over Baylor

    Baylor is a good team on offense, a poor man’s West Virginia- they will be a good test but their Defense is not that good all. 14 points is about right imo
