Games When you're Bored at work

Not a big deal. I just do my part. I don't ride the backs of others like some on here think is a funny thing to do. I'm more than a spreadsheet accountant who thinks their big **** because they put 8 minutes of work into their day. How anyone does anything like that for a living is beyond...

Games When you're Bored at work

Yeah sure. I'm in charge of large national projects. I've got structures from Alaska to Florida that will be standing a 100 years after I'm gone. Spreadsheet accountants are under me. If u Worked on any of my projects and I heard you were screwing around playing video games I'd fire you.

I'm in construction and actually work. Haven't got time to waste on frivolous nonsense.

If Haliburton Wins the NBA Finals This Year...

It doesn't have to be a jersey hanging from Hilton, but something will have to be thrown up to honor him. Great ambassador and supporter of ISU. It's a big deal for any program to have a superstar playing in the NBA. Isn't tough to remember Jordan played at NC or Shaq at LSU. Pays huge...

    Haliburton Does It Again

Damn dude, I didn't start this thing. Keep getting pulled into some rabbit hole debate with you. You're the one who said you're not really watching and seem to want to post something negative when all I'm saying is something positive about Tyrese. Marvin, is that you?

    Haliburton Does It Again

I don't usually watch the NBA. I care about ISU basketball and you're being short sighted if you don't see how this benefits ISU. If you don't care about the NBA or how Tyrese is doing why are you replying "semantics" to me and starting some nonsense about word usage? Trolling maybe?

    Haliburton Does It Again

Yes, good thing making that choke sign didn't cost the Pacers this one. I thought he "rocked" last night. "Great" isn't the word I'd use. Doesn't quite capture the fact he did something no one else in NBA history has ever done. No turnovers with the #'s he put up with that triple double...

    Haliburton Does It Again

What would you call Haliburton's performance last night? Couple of his shots rattled.

    RIP Phil Robertson (Duck Dynasty)

Not sure what the appeal was for that show. Reality TV is a joke. Allows people to sit on their asses and live life vicariously through characters on a screen.

Sorry, I actually meant to click his response and accidentally hit yours ..my bad

    Haliburton Does It Again

And we're all still talking about it. Reggie Miller is sitting court side commentating these games still getting pics of his choke flashed. Everytime anything NBA pops up on ESPN there's usually a big pic of Tyrese. His Sam Cassell "Big Balls" and Reggie Miller "Choke" will be talked about by...

    Haliburton Does It Again

Sank, sunk, made, drained, clanked, drilled..use whatever word you care, the shot went in. Pacers went into OT and won the game. Won in NY with everyone in the planet watching that shot "fall". Minimize it if you want by using "semantics". More of a denotation if you want to get literal.

    Haliburton Does It Again

That shot still deserved the choke sign. He doesn't nail that and it's game over NY. Can't be understated what a huge shot that was. Watch the Knicks players reaction is all you need to see. Gutted them with that shot.

RECRUITING: Cyclones earn commitment from in-state linebacker Will Hawthorne

Not sure, there's a lot to consider. 4A gets more kids to state per event than the smaller schools so that's gotta be figured too. All in all class 3A kicked 4A's butt. Just throwing some differences between the classes out there when looking at the results.

RECRUITING: Cyclones earn commitment from in-state linebacker Will Hawthorne

There are 64 schools in 3A as opposed to 48 in 4A.

    Haliburton Does It Again

Tyrese's run in this round of playoffs is legendary. What he's doing will be talked about for decades. Honestly, I can't remember a player doing what he's done with these clutch shots, and the degree of difficulty. Jordan had a couple, Bird..but we're talking some pretty good company. Insane...

What’s so tough about understanding the law?

You can also drink yourself to death or develop a nasty addiction. I know drinkers that point the finger at me because I smoke. Makes zero sense.

    Favorite Recurring SNL Skits

Wasn't reccuring, but the funniest skit I've seen on SNL was pulled off by Farley. I'm old school so anything with Chase, Akroyd, Murray,Belushi, Martin are probably my favorites.

SURVEY: Would you be interested in this CF sponsored trip to Ireland?

When are you ever going to be able to watch the Cyclones in Ireland again? Selling one of my motorcycles for this one. This is a second mortgage or sell your oldest kid type game no one should pass up. I was at ISU in the early 90's and would have never thought anything like this would be...

Since it's off-season, some Johnny Orr...

Johnny was great! I ran with a lot of the team so met him on several occasions. It wasn't too tough to sit down and have a drink with him. He was every bit as tall as Fred, and was noticable taller than Terry Woods and Mike Born. No one should be more appreciated than Johnny for what ISU...
