    Agreed. But He passed up a lot of jobs while he was at Creighton to stay closer to family in the Midwest. So if Iowa called it might not be all about which is the better job.

    Problem is any agreement between P4 conferences on rules - or anything really - is collusion - So they need an entity with an anti trust exception or they will keep losing in court.

    I assume it as simple as he is 9th on the depth chart and TJ plays 8. IMO - If ISU was 1-15 it could be a topic of discussion- with ISU at 15-1 it’s really not. Fyi - He was hurt in Maui that’s why he didn’t play there.

    NCAA considering 5 years of eligibility for all sports

    If I remember correctly (someone correct me if I am wrong ) - as part of the class action settlement that goes into affect this year (house settlement??) - the ncaa will ask Congress for an exemption and the lawyers that sued will not oppose (or maybe help lobby Congress for it)

    I believe the reason the NCAA is losing in court is because they are basically an illegal monopoly. If they get an antitrust exception from congress then the rules they make can and probably will be upheld by the courts.

    I believe schools can chose not to follow title 9 now. However, if they don't follow title 9 they are not eligible for federal financial assistance. So, no FASFA Students loans, Pell Grants, other student grants (not sure about research grants) etc. So, doubt SCOTUS would overturn it...feds...
