    Transit once you get to Europe is so much better than here. We've covered most of western europe pretty well except Scandanavia. Heading to Croatia next week with day trips to other nations of the former Yugoslavia. Looking forward to that, Primarily Croatia.

    Effigy Mounds National Monument is just north of Marquette a few miles. Great trails overlooking the river. Restaurants in Prairie du Chien just across the river - Mulligans, Eddies Irish Pub, Blackhawk.

    We flew non stop from Chicago eight years ago. 3-4 days in Dublin is plenty but why not see the rest of the country? And BTW, Guinness is indeed the best when it’s fresh!
