This station has been great. Have been playing tailgate music this morning before the Big 12 kickoff show. Nice to have enough teams in the conference now that give enough content for a channel like this.
Not just dumb play calling, but selfish play calling. When CU got the ball back I said out loud that Deion cares more about padding his sons stats than winning the game.
The level of whine from this announcer is indicative of USA soccer culture. A straight up loser mentality. They are easily overmatched against any team with a pulse.
I feel like this is just another example of the pendulum swinging too far in America these days. America was built on hard-working folks focused on growth, power, and prosperity. Problem is this mindset creates issues over the long-term and will lead to diminishing returns eventually...
Will the B10 and SEC invest in the Big 12? :)
No antitrust lawsuits have gone thru for all of the realignment and conference/network collusion thus far, so what's stopping them?
So tired of hearing about Caitlin every day at this point. She is a damn good player and it is not her fault that the media obsession is focused on her. Media companies' strategy in 21st century......create nonstop obsessive posts, articles, and content about 1 person....start to get people...
Exactly. And what does/will walk on really mean any more when all players are getting paid a base wage and can have NIL $. If anything this leaves the door open for these coaches/leagues to find another loophole with something regarding the walk-on status.
I agree, and hope he and the boys prove us wrong this year. I almost feel that Matt's teams always get wrongly pegged in the preseason, in both directions. He's a steady Eddie coach with an average ceiling, but also a fairly high floor.
I agree, but that would require the city to spend money on infrastructure. The city of Chicago just rakes in the cash via tourism, high taxes, red light and speed camera and parking tickets, now weed, now gambling. But it always amazes me going to the airport and travelling on the public...
This would be yet another example of the Bears ownership failures. They just don't get how to run a successful sports organization, outside of just raking in cash from millions of legacy Bears fans. I grew up a Bears fan but gave up on them 15 years ago and have rooted for them to lose every...
So when do college football and basketball completely break away from academics, and eligibility, etc are no longer a thing and it's just a complete semi-pro league? That's probably coming sooner than we think especially with these power conferences forming. Seasons, tourneys, etc will then...
I hope so, but I am expecting another 7-6 season. Anytime Matt has had expectations he hasn't delivered. I hope he changes that narrative this year, but until that happens I will take the under in high expectation seasons.
Omaha is rated 26th in the current 247 transfer ranking. I thought hmmmm that is interesting. Then I saw that Fish is the current 15th rated transfer, which made me instantly discount the transfer rankings on that site. I mean Fish may very well turn out to be a good player, and I think he...
Exactly. Every Illinois fan that I know says their number one hated team is Iowa....every single one. The reason? Their fans are so arrogant and think they are superior to all of humanity. Sounds familiar.
Living in Illinois it is very strange. You know there are a bunch of alums walking around, but they don't wear a lot of Illini gear and don't seem to have very much pride. They are definitely private fans and not douchers.
Definitely not Illinois. The people of the state have no pride and if someone invaded they would actually be thrilled to leave the area and have the opportunity to live in a better state. They would also assist the invading state with getting revenge on the corrupt government. Sincerely, a...
