    Agree. But outside of the dumb false starts, the o-line played really, really well against one of, if not the best defenses we will see all season. Huge props to those guys.

    That was one of the worst offensive game plans I’ve ever seen. Add in that Rocco can’t hit the broad side of a barn and it’s a miracle we are only down 13.

    What am I missing with the o/u at 35? Our offense is good, our defense isn’t as good as usual - seems like a recipe for an easy over.

    It was basically the same as other places: ad reads, trying to pump up the crowd, introduce stuff. Issue was that her mic was way too loud and she was screaming into it. Not exactly what people wanted on a day where they are baking in the sun. I’m sure it will get better.

    I’m confident in saying that NO ONE here thinks this is a reflection of her as a human being. I am sure she is great. It’s a discussion about her job and the performance at that job - and frankly, it’s more about ISU and the need for this + execution as I’m not sure anyone would have come away...

    It will be unpopular but I 100% agree with you. I think it’s a combination of things - expected winning, moving the student section, more timeouts, more casual fans (good thing), and several other factors.

It might be more tolerable by turning down the mic, lessening the screaming, and not making it 90% reading ads. But hiring a hawk fan to pump up Iowa State fans is beyond tone deaf.     Might have been me or maybe the heat, but was that game nearly unwatchable from a live, in the stadium flow perspective? The number of TV breaks seemed crazy. I know TV is king but holy hell is it killing the game experience with the stadium.
