Jamie Pollard gives further details on plans for Jack Trice Stadium in 2020

You would think they would have to do something. My guess is they will do it in line with other options- lower the season ticket price and allow season ticket holders to request a refund or to count that money towards 2021, but the default option to apply that as a donation to the cyclone club

    NCAA says no fall championships

It doesnt apply to FBS football because the NCAA doesnt hold a championship for FBS football. This announcement affects FCS (already done), volleyball, and soccer.

    Hard pass.

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

This is true for some but all issues. To act like there is a middle ground on all issues is asinine. If one side says the world is round, and another that the earth is flat, we don't have to take a middle ground with the flat-earthers.

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

This. Also, the people saying 'responsibly resume' were the same that jumped every gun with regards to reopening, ignoring all guidance on how to slowly do that to limit things getting out of control. So excuse us if we don't take them at their word.

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Ah yes, the 'we are all overreacting to the virus'. Same thing. You are part of the problem and why we are here.

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Why single out any one doctor instead of looking to what the medical community in general would say. Very few events are happening this fall in general, outside of football, because the vast majority of medical opinion is against large groups\events. Id believe that more if we were already at...

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Doubtful. The players don't have much leverage in that situation anyway. Plenty of kids willing to take a scholarship and benefits package worth $50k\year. If anything i bet the administrators loved it because it helped them push a 'let them play' narrative.

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Sometimes its more efficient to hit the dumb button than to go in circles with the same morons that have been denying the severity of the virus since march, making this a problem we have to deal with for much longer than we had to.

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

They may have cherry picked some 'experts' but they are not going in line with the wide majority of medical opinion. Especially with regards to the presence of fans. Theyve also been repeating some outright garbage, such as the idea that somehow players are safer playing football than not, which...

SI: College Football Leaders moving to cancel season

50% would be a pretty big influx of fans

Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Its not 'arrogance' or a 'knee-jerk reaction'. It is following the advice of experts. Most conferences are following the experts. A few are ignoring them because their salaries are dependent on ignoring that advice. The B12\ACC\SEC are the few conferences in all of college sports to ignore...

SI: College Football Leaders moving to cancel season

Yep it's no coincidence that the conferences that are refusing to follow the best medical advice and practices are based in the states that have handled this the worst. Those conferences reflect the people within them. It's also funny watching people act like the big 10 and pac-12 are out on a...

Tom Shatel: Is this the beginning of the end for Nebraska in the Big Ten?

Honestly yes I think they would be. it's not going to happen because Nebraska isn't going to change conferences but if they were to want to come back to the big 12 The presidents wouldn't look at it from the emotional perspective of fans. They would look at it from a business perspective and see...

Big Ten and Pac-12 cancel 2020 fall football seasons

And 'can' might be the operative word. Like theyre not going to lock them out if they want to go work out in the AD facilities

Big Ten and Pac-12 cancel 2020 fall football seasons

Yeah, this is simply choosing to remain in denial a bit longer.

SI: College Football Leaders moving to cancel season

At this point, the choice really seems to be whether to admit reality or to remain in denial a few more weeks before ultimately arriving at the same result.

SI: College Football Leaders moving to cancel season

Might have to submit this one to the bug thread, somehow a post time traveled here from march.
