    Help! I'm Fat

For those looking to take the next step in fitness, I can't recommend Focus T25 enough. I've been doing it for 11.5 months (actually on Insanity Max 30 now) and I've lost 30 lbs from 185 to 155. I am pretty damn lean right now. Just don't expect instant results. I don't think I lost anything in...

    2020 Stocks

How about VOO (Vanguard S&P Index), like a weekly purchase to average over the life of the downturn? Buy and hold of course. Looking to take advantage of the downturn but not wanting to put a lot of risk in specific companies.

    2020 Stocks

I grabbed a few large bank stocks as a 1-2 year play but putting most into S&P index for the long haul. Planning to dollar cost average on the index over the next few weeks. Good/bad?

    Help! I'm Fat

Yeah 25 minutes (plus a 3 minute cool-down stretch). The Beta workouts (weeks 6-10) incorporate light dumbbells. I use 12 lb'ers, I think most women in the dvd's are using 5 lb'ers. You can also use resistance bands instead (which come with the program), but I found the dumbbells to be more...

    Help! I'm Fat

Yeah I've done Insanity. That time commitment tho.. If your goal is cardio fitness, T25 will get it done.

    Help! I'm Fat

This is awesome! T25 has a low impact modifier too for those not ready for all of the exercises. I have too much pride for that but 10 years from now might be a different story. :D I can't recommend Shaun Ts workout programs enough. I don't have to leave the house and the workouts are only...

    Help! I'm Fat

I do Focus T25 and Insanity Max 30 - both cardio/plyo workouts 25 and 30 minutes respectively. Start with T25 (10 weeks) and roll into Max 30 (8 weeks). As far as kids, it's impossible to keep a morning workout schedule when they're babies/toddlers. Mine were 3 and 4 before I was able to make...

    Help! I'm Fat

Forgot about this thread. I'm down to 167 lbs from 185. All it took was 26 weeks of 5:30am workouts 6 days per week. No change in eating or drinking habits.

Buying Tires on a Site Such as TireBuyer.com

TireRack didn't have the tires I wanted (Kumho) so I bought on Amazon. I took them to a Discount Tire for installation and had a good experience. On that note, I recommend taking a look at Kumho as a budget buy. High quality for the price.

    Help! I'm Fat

Exercising in the morning has been a big boon for me. They say it raises your metabolism throughout the day. I'm down 12 lbs in 18 weeks, and I didn't think I had that much to lose.

    Help! I'm Fat

Maybe I'm just genetically lucky, but I still don't think carbs are the devil. Just eat less food people.

    Life Insurance

Probably wouldn't do anything in your shoes, assuming you're not drowning in un-collateralized debt that is.

    Help! I'm Fat

I've been there. It just hit me in my late twenties versus forties. Maybe just my personality but when I exercise I have to go all in. Trying to maintain 2-3 days a week is a recipe for failure. I've found that getting up an hour early every weekday and exercising is the most sustainable...

    Help! I'm Fat

Mentioned it earlier but Focus T25 has been great. I recommend it for people who don't have a lot of time and don't mind in-home workouts.

Dear Florida: Jamie Pollard is savage

I wouldn't go that far. He's always got an agenda.

    Help! I'm Fat

Hey whatever works for you man. I still stand by my point - the gimmicks are really hard to live by. I think some people can still accomplish their goals by shifting their habits a little instead of a lot, which makes it easier to maintain. No-carb is not easy to maintain!

    Help! I'm Fat

I guess we've all just gotta find what works for us. Low carb doesn't work for me because I like bread and beer too much.

    Help! I'm Fat

I lost 25 lbs about 10 years ago and am actually down another 5 now. It's a simple formula to help me eat less food: 1. Eat a moderate but healthy breakfast 2. Eat a sandwich for lunch (6" subway, potbelly, even a burger) but don't get a side unless it's a fruit or vegetable 3. Cook for supper...

    O-Line Complimented

Big improvement from the UNI game. That was not a praiseworthy performance. This line has done well since then. I'm not used to saying that, just like it took awhile to get used to having a legit defense.

    El Camino

Now that's must-see-TV. Better than the Deadwood movie.
