Humboldt Golf Fundraiser

Humboldt Golf Fundraiser for the Cyclone Regional Training Center is June 28th at the Humboldt Golf Course. It is a 4 man 18 hole best shot. We have 1 team spot that just opened up before being a sellout. Cost is $500 per team. Also each team member gets a cart to use, meal ticket and some golf swag.

We also have Hole Sponsorships available for $500. That gets you 4 meal tickets to the event, a sponsorship sign with your name & logo on it. That is suppose to be signed by the wrestlers and staff and given back to the sponsor to display. Also gets you 2 tickets to the Iowa State vs SDSU (I think it is against SDSU) dual in Humboldt. That should be a good dual.

We also will have various silent and live auction and some raffles at the event.

Humboldt Golf Outing was a success. I think we raised the most money we ever have for the CRTC.

Golf event was sold out with 22 teams and went pretty smoothly.

Thanks to Traditions of Twin Lakes for being our primary sponsor and the 45 $500+ hole sponsors that we had.

Weather was hot, but a little wind made it tolerable.

Thanks to Lynch Livestock for the evening meal and Bowdens of Humboldt for donating and grilling the pork patties for the noon meal.

Thanks to the committee (Webster City, Duncombe, Eagle Grove, Algona, Vincent, and Humboldt represented) that I am fortunate to work with. Our fantastic leader, John Conlon, is always well organized, so we can spend much of our meetings drinking beer and socializing.

Any update on how the other golf outings went? We are in NEIA and couldnt get to the one in our area, curious how they compared...glad to hear they are spreading out within the state to catch more folks.

Jackson Heights had a solid turnout, I am sure the potential for bad weather maybe hurt a bit but it seemed as full as usual.

Always good to get a few nuggets and shoot the breeze with the coaches/wrestlers.

I think the CRTC 100 is the biggest. Humboldt 2nd & Okoboji a close 3rd. Just what I hear. But Humboldt has been doing it the longest also & a lot of support for Dresser. Not sure on the Ames outing and Flat Tire outing, I think those are probably pretty comparable also.
