LOL Reads more like a clickbait article. Not withstanding the fact that none of the Big 12 schools on the list would want anything to do with such nonsense, (geographical nightmare) most of the other schools make sense...at least the Nevada schools anyway.

The Pac 12 has two major problems, and the author appears oblivious to both. One is that the conference sucks right now, and the other is that for the most part fans are apathetic. Vegas could certainly play a part in bringing the conference back to relevancy, and it would make sense to bring in lesser schools like UNLV and Nevada now while no one is paying attention. But until they figure out how to make the conference relevant again, expansion is the last thing they should be worrying about.

If any schools from OK or TX went they’d probably regret it in some form down the road. Would just be an awkward fit.

Think UNLV would be the best add. Vegas is growing, a lot of media and entertainment money, NFL and NHL seem to think it’s a good sports town, best destination for fans & CCGs/tournaments.

Difficulties aside, BYU would be a good add for a number of reasons. Especially paired with Utah.

LOL, that was some lazy expansion talk. Those west coast people don't care about collegiate sports, too many other things to do out there, pro sports, nice weather etc....
the bell cows of USC and UCLA have been down for a while now and nobody cares about the rest. Oregon and Stanford have both been good but aren't great right now.

The odds are better that teams will leave the Pac 12 for the Big 12 than the other way around. This is not 10 years ago, why would OU want a more difficult path to the college football playoff and playing half their conference games at 9:00 central time to move to the West Coast?

There is dumb and then totally stupid and this is just stupid.

Yeah, problem with Pac 10 is nobody cares about it in that part of the country. The fan bases are just way smaller for those schools than anyone thought 10 years ago.

Big 12 has tons of problems to, but would rather be the Big 12 right now than the Pac 10.

What problems does the Big 12 have?

Like what? Big 12 seems to be doing pretty well right now.
