THT with a career high 24 tonight against the Jazz

THT's pre-season was no fluke. Barring injury he is going to be a massive problem for opponents as a crazy long combo guard or maybe even just a big point guard for quite some time.

It's kind of nuts that almost none of our recently drafted players, if any, have been busts and most would be drafted higher if you did a redraft.

THT would easily be a lottery pick in a redraft.
Monte would be a first rounder.
Tyrese would be a top five lock.
Niang might be working his way into a situation where would likely be a first rounder in a redraft.
Nader has done VERY well for his draft position and gets drafted again, probably higher.

That's five of our current 6 guys who were undervalued in the draft. The only other active guy wasn't drafted.

THT knocked a 3 down in Niang's face, haha. Fun to see 2 ISU guys playing well.

The Jazz won the game; THT won the battle of stats.

Georges had 2 PT in 16 MIN and Matt Thomas hit his only shot (2pt) in 2 minutes of mop-up time.

THT's highlights from last night. About 25 seconds in is his 3 vs. Niang. There are also some mentions of Matt Thomas at the end. Talen can finish in traffic so well - the kid is getting better and better.

I've been keeping an eye on this since I noticed this stat a few weeks ago: Georges is sitting on 992 career NBA points. He should be in 4 digits in the next game or two. (In his 1st two seasons, he only combined for 30 pts).

Tyrese Haliburton continues to contribute but the Kings can't get stops and this has been his coldest scoring month of the season. He's averaging 9.7 ppg and 32% from 3pt in April, both season lows for months.

On Sunday, he had maybe his worst statistical game of the season - did anyone see that? Two other guards off the bench played more minutes than he did. The Kings got the W vs. Dallas and Ty ended with this line: 16 MIN, 3 PT, 0-2 FG,
3-4 FT and 2 AST.

Last night, they lost to the Timberwolves though Tyrese had more typical PT: 26 MIN, 2-10 FG, 2-6 3PT, 1-1 FT, 1 REB, 9 AST, and 1 STL.

My favorite cheap and quick lunch spot in LA is finally opened back up and they always have last night's laker game on the TVs. Got to see about 30-40 minutes of this one. THT is legit. Would be hard to keep him out of a lot of starting lineups around the league, will become complete player in all phases, has the tools to be there defensively too.

Only the most freakish rookies don't hit a wall at some point, even in this shortened season it's still almost 3x the games as college counting preseason, 3.5x times the games for deep playoff teams.
