Big 12 was good at 125. Top 5 in rankings were top 5 in tourney.
Phippen of AF is 26 in coaches ranking and got 7th. Kysen is 6th and beat Phippen

Big 10 = Howard at #27 took a spot
#7 Cronin (Neb), #15 Barnett (Wisc), #16 Cardani (Ill) need spots

There might be a couple spots that Kysen might have a chance to grab

Top 4 in Big 12 are top 4 in coaches ranking, Colbray is #21

Big 10 has 10 in the top 17 in coaches poll.
Braunagel is #12 and got 9th in Big 10, Jordan is #16 and got 10th in Big 10.

6 spots available, I think Colbray should be 4 selected

Big 12 has 9 ranked in the top 33. (#4, #7, #15, #24 got bids)
#20 Runyon, #23 Mantanona, #25 Surratt, #27 Broderson, #32 King need bids

Big 10 got 8 spots (#1, #2, #3, #5, #6, #9, #26, and #29 got berths)
#22 Turley (9th in Big 10) and #28 Krattinger went 1-2

7 spots available (Flitz and Kauffman (above) take 2)
Turley will take one, Runyon might, but injured, Mantanona & Surratt get 2

There's going to be one more coaches' ranking, so don't be too surprised if the conference tournament results end up in some guys previously outside the Top 33 moving in, and some guys in the #26-33 range dropping out.

The only positive is that both of Broderson's losses were to Hastings and Mantanona.
and Colbray's were to Clothier and Geer.

Broderson just had a brutal draw.

Bratke from Flo put out an article breaking down who he thinks will get at larges. He has Kysen and Colbray both receiving a bid

This gonna be the craziest tournament ever. Seeding is gonna be so wild and messed up. I hope we aren’t on the short stick on the backside of top guy getting beat and then going down to the backside earlier and then have to deal with him there. I think we can make waves at some weights especially if the Marcus we saw this weekend shows up.

If I was a betting man I would say Fix and Lee will dominate their weights at Nationals. The only other wrestler who looks way out in front of everyone is Gable Steveson. I think Mekhi Lewis may struggle to AA this year. He has few matches and didnt even finish the ACC tournament. Carr has a great chance to win a title at 157 this year as that weight looks pretty open.

One wrestler of note was Ethan Smith dropped a massively tight decision to Marinelli 3-2 in the finals at 165. Think of the gap that would close for the Cyclones had he stayed committed. Ridge Lovett also took a close second to Sasso at 149.

This weekend was Marinelli's first live action in about 6 weeks. I anticipate him winning more decisively at Nationals.
