Just another episode in the sad saga of Marty Tirrell. Doubt if it is the last one.

I'm a believer in redemption but I've heard Marty over and over the years pretend to have this newfound look on life or faith journey and blah blah blah. If you lie to yourself enough you can believe anything. He screwed a lot of people over and absolutely deserves hard time for it. I do feel bad for his daughter but she's probably better off with him out of the picture. So maybe he'll find peace in stir but my guess is he's already screwing cellmates over in cigarette trade deals or something.

Good reminder for kids that if you are going to be a thief its better to commit white collar crimes then rob banks or convienence stores.

You ever see the documentary McMillions? Guy scammed the system for over 20 million and served like two years in prison.

I'm a fairly moral dude but I'd steal $20MM if I knew I'd serve 3 years for it!

Jail not a bad gig for him. Go from homeless where a man that size isn't sure where his next meal is coming from ... to a bed and 3 meals a day. And the sex? All you want, just maybe not the kind you want. But still, for a guy who's his size and that goofy looking ... your romantic life just took a gigantic step.

My favorite scam was the guy who just sent invoices to google and they kept paying them without verifying anything

I just caught the end of it but believe I heard Ken Miller say on the radio that Marty just got released. IF TRUE, don't think he ended up serving even half his sentence.

Always blows my mind when criminal X steals amount Y and the fine is smaller than the amount they stole. If they have any assets left seize them and sell them to recoup as much as they can for the amount the stole. I know Marty hasn't a pot to piss in but in general. I want to see them riding a second hand bike to a tent down by the river because they seized their van.
