All I need to know about if masks work is friends and family in Taiwan and South Korea over the past 20 years (places far more densely populated than the vast majority of the USA).

They work to slow the spread of viral outbreaks.

End of story.

No it's not. As per f@f in Japan. Oh wait.........speaking of South Korea and Japan. This just in............................

Wearing a mask slows the rate of spread and reduces risk of transmission.

Nobody claims proper mask usage will bring the outbreak to zero immediately.

Those countries have radically lower rates of infection and death. I do a lot of business with South Korea, their businesses haven't been affected at all compared to the American businesses I work with that have been decimated.

So down the toilet goes the mask myth. Thanks Acylum!
Shut downs and enforced social distancing it is.

Wherever I go, there I am.
I wonder how the lowest genuine positivity rate in Iowa compares to rates in some of these other countries that fascinate the wet farters.

I find people who never link anything and who state their opinion as unassailable truths interesting.

I find interesting those people who draw conclusions from posted links that aren't warranted.

I find pina coladas interesting. I like getting caught in the rain--I find that interesting.
