I suppose it depends on where you put your money during all of this.

i stopped trading almost completely and now my brokerage is 60% VTI total market and 40% VXUS total international market.

my roth IRA is about 75% sector ETFs through vanguard and 25% in individual stocks.

I’ve been kicking butt with VOO and VFIAX, but either way you can’t go wrong with vanguard.

Pretty happy my bank stocks came in above at call. Really like USB, should have bought more.

Anyone else take advantage of stock slices? Ive been buying up stock slices with odds and ends in my accounts over the last few months. Say my checking account has 425.00 in it, Ill take that 25 and buy up some slices. Schwab added this feature a little while ago and I love it. Seems like a good way to dip a toe into a company.

I've got M1 Finance and they do fractional shares/slices. M1 has a minimum desposit of $10. What's Schwabs $5?

Hardly seems worth the tax consequences. Although, now that the brokerages have to track it and it's not up to us that does take a lot of the burden off. Trying to track capital gains on things like that would have been a nightmare.

Yeah its five. Either way it's an easy start for buying into a company. Makes it much more approachable for those looking to get into some of the higher stocks out there.

Not exactly sure.
Hmm, I never knew haggling was a thing at jewelry stores? thanks for the PSA

Heck ya. I would always get offered a 20% cash discount before I even start negotiating. When I got married (awhile ago) I got at 20% discount and my ring thrown in for nothing when I bought my wife's set.
