Not sure how you could say that from a presidential perspective. Iowa has gone Trump, Obama, Obama, W, Gore, Clinton, Clinton. Most were close, the results have flipped parties, and Iowa tends to back the winner.

Gunnerclone is also neglecting 75% of US house seats are currently blue. Iowa is purple in national politics.

No State Fair, so what? Haven't gone since they got rid of the track. Plus the cost by the time you park and get in you've dropped already dropped around $75 for a family of four.

That's a weird way to put that statement. Postpone until August 2021. Isn't that just cancelling this year and keeping next year at the same time?
And now, the State Fair Queen of the 2020 Iowa State Fair, Miss Dickinson County! She will serve until tomorrow evening, when we'll name the 2021 Fair Queen.

Do the candidates actually go to the Iowa State Fair after they have secured their party's nomination?

I always assumed they went to Iowa so much because of the caucus and then treated just like another low electoral state.

Yes they do. Still 100K people at the fair. Easy to get attention that way.

Beat me to it...

So since I won the blue ribbon for best cookies in Texas in 2019, does that mean I also get the title in 2020?

Also fun fact, they added a rule about me in the rules this year. I entered all my recipes in metric and didn't convert them. They added a rule stating they must be in standard units and metric is not allowed.
