Beaty files lawsuit against KU

Less his attorney fees, Beaty pockets a cool ~$1.7 million. A.D. Jeff Long looks stupid for fighting this, maybe. But KU wasn't out any more than had they given Beaty his $3 million upfront. KU obviously didn't want Beaty's lawyers in discovery uncovering more sewage on Bill's basketball program, so they settled.

Well, the settlement came just in time for Beaty since I'm sure Uber probably isn't getting as many calls for rides lately.
