Whenver Enyi is brought up this play comes to mind. He was so lost.
Looks like an All-Big 12 caliber player to me. I mean running around without a clue is often what is seen from Big 12 defenses.

Stanley with the wheels!
That was a huge third down pick up that set up an Iowa touchdown.
Didn’t Purdy fumble the ball away on his longest run in that game?
You guys are awfully hard on Stanz. Between this and the clock thing you guys have been brutal. I think he does great work.I can promise you ISU is not.
This is actually becoming a really good thread. Please don't ruin it.You Hawkeye dorks mock how long this thread is and how many pages we’re on, yet 10 out of 12 posts on this page alone are from Iowa fans *updated*
Jake Hummel (LB) - Has been a major role player, may start this yearWho is out of eligibility on defense after 2020?
Who are the next ISU targets that are likely to commit?
I think Bollers probably commits to Wisconsin this weekend, then ISU gets this guy a day or 2 later.

No disagreement there. Pretty much a unanimous top 11 pick from what I've seen. He's a good player.
It almost HAS to be this year. Decent chance Purdy is gone after this season and there will be a drop off after he leaves.
I personally think Stanley holds up better against BIG defenses. Purdy had trouble staying healthy through a weak big 12 (with many atrocious defenses last year).....and was rendered relatively ineffective against an ND team that Michigan curb stomped.....even after having a month to prepare. Not really that hard to go with Stanley in the BIG over Purdy. Maybe Purdy can put it all together this year - i.e. stay healthy and lead his team to more than 7 or 8 wins. I don't think the big 12 is any better (and is possibly even worse) than last year, so there is definitely a chance for the clones to make a move closer to double digit wins.
Trouble staying healthy? I mean, he had a couple of ankle sprains that hampered his mobility, yet started every game. Ankle sprains can happen against any defense, no matter how "atrocious" you perceive them to be. Purdy would start for every team in the Big 10 outside of tOSU. I guess Minnesota would at least have an argument.
Purdy and the clones were absolutely BEAT DOWN by a Notre Dame team that was curb stomped by Michigan...and Purdy was essentially knocked out of the game. It was also rumored that Purdy was hobbled against Oklahoma State and that contributed to him (and the clones) falling apart in the fourth quarter. There's two good examples for you of how Purdy struggled to stay healthy (at times) and that directly impacted his effectiveness.Trouble staying healthy? Purdy is good and showed toughness playing through ankle sprains, and I get what you're saying. But he doesn't start for every B1G team outside of the Buckeyes. Several? Sure. But he doesn't start at Nebby, Minney, Penn St., Michigan, Wisco, or Indiana.
These guys brought the heat today.
