Where they love the governor
And for something completely different...
Comal County Blue - Jason Boland and the Stragglers

There's one rolled in my ash tray
I'm taking Hunter Road.
Out by Riley's Tavern
Where my liquor love to flow.
We'll skip around San Marcos
Stop and tell Doug hello.
2nd gear up Congress
You know I like to take it slow.

Cindy's cryin' but it ain't no use -
She's got a habit and she can't get loose.
Stoppin' each and ev'ry man she meets,
Gonna be a hooker on Bleecker Street.
On Bleecker Street,

Somewhat obscure and a Wednesday BoxsterCy flashback special. Used to get airtime on KAAY 50 years ago on Clyde Clifford's strangle nightly radio show. His show was called Beaker Street and the song references a similar "Bleecker Street". A Tom Paxton song but the version played back than was that of a local Little Rock band, Deep Water Revival. Cover was better than Paxtons, more haunting with the female vocal.
