KU has agreed to play MU in a 4 year home and home series in football starting in 2025. They previously agreed to re-ignite the MBB rivalry beginning this coming season (assuming there is one):

I think this is really great for the region. I look forward to the restoration of one of CFB's most storied traditions. My second favorite Big 12 game ever (aside from ISU games), next to the 2003 Big 12 Chanpionship, was the 2007 Border War showdown in Arrowhead. The Big 12 North did not have many classics, but that one stands out to me.

Agree. It's good they are getting beyond the childish boy tirade: I'm taking my toys and going home.
They've moved their Arkansas game to Arrowhead to fill that part of the void. Maybe in another hundred years, but in the here and now, that game lacks the venom of this one.

I know I'm in the minority, sorry, I'm still meh with it. I know the history and how much those fanbases hate each other, I still just think about hoisting the B12 trophy in KC with SEC shirts, asking the B12 if they can still wrestle after defecting, and their biggest crowd in years was when we went down for bball recently, its obvious they need these games more than we or KU do.

As long as the Big 12 is stable then this should be water under the bridge. There will probably be moments when Mizzou is playing South Carolina and Florida as division mates and their fans are wishing they could drive to Ames or Manhattan for a game instead.

I hope we get UT vs. A&M before too long as well.

As bad as KU has been in football I honestly don't know why they would sign up for this. I get the history behind the series but unless things drastically change KU would just get embarrassed.

So looking thru Mizzou's upcoming schedule, it sure is interesting.
KState in 2022, 2023
KU and Colorado in 2025 (note: they have 5 non con games for a total of 13 regular season)
KU and IL in 2026
Colorado in 2030
KU in 2031
KU, IL in 2032

And Illinois in a lot of the other years up to 2035.

Between KU, KState, and Colorado, they appear to miss their old rivals.

Are they going to play late in the year on that week where all the SEC teams take a week off with FCS opponents?

I'd want KU to be in three cupcake mode if I were a fan, if anybody is a cupcake for them...or if anybody is a ku football fan.

K-State, MU, and Ku recruit KC hard. There's a reason why MU doesn't want to give that market to the B12 schools. Plus, those games assure a big gate, something they're not getting playing Central Arkansas.

Kinda how I am. Kansas owes Mizzou nothing.

Definitely spells homesick! Way back when they were courting the BigTen (and being shown up by Nebby) they. played a very entertaining season opening series versus illinois in St Louis. I forget what they called it, but it was my go to game of opening weekend for a number of years.
