He's Wigginton 2.0, I think we can all agree Wigginton/Bolton > someone who wasn't even All Conference and has some question marks himself

I assume you're still hung up on the CJ Fredrick thing??

I think it's basically a pick 'em for me between those two, but yes I did say I'd probably be a slight lean towards Fredrick right now. It's more of just a gut feeling for me.... I think Fredrick has more of the intangibles I like, but it's very close IMO.

The real issue is Bolton is our best returning player, and Fredrick is probably Iowa's 4th or 5th best player next year right now.

They're isn't a better comparison for Bolton than Wigginton and advanced stats back that up

Frederick is soft so what intangibles do you like?

According to what? Wigginton was a two time All Conference performer and his advanced stats are nearly identical to Bolton

So Bolton should leave early for the NBA too at some point then, right? I mean they're the same player according to you.... so the NBA should see it that way too, right? Or does the NBA look at more than just a player's statistics?

Wigginton is more explosive so he's a better G League prospect. Not sure what makes you think Wigginton was better in college

Wigginton was one of the better players to ever put on an Iowa State uniform in our school's history. I'm not dogging Bolton at all, but I think on a decent team, he'd be a role-player rather than the "go-to" player he ended up having to be this past season.

Wiggs injury really hurt him. Before that, you could tell he was a star in the making. An unbelievable talent. I never say that to myself when watching Bolton. In fact, most of the time watching Bolton play I'd find myself saying.... "what in f**k are you doing??".

I agree with this. I love Wigginton but his college production = Bolton. Their games are very similar. Athletic 2 guard in a PG body that can knock down shots and are elite at getting to the rim

A two time HM All Conference player? Lol
I think you're forgetting that he was on the All-Big 12 Newcomer team and also was the 6th man of the year. Honestly, the only comparison that stands out to me is that they both were pretty frequent with turning the ball over.

One of the best in Iowa State history!
You're spinning words. I said "one of the better players to put on an Iowa State uniform"

Probably could've become one of the best had he stayed, but he didn't want to play for Steve anymore and didn't want to sit out to a year at a different school, so I don't blame him.
