Culver's has a sustained 15-20 cars in the drive through making it impossible to go there right now.

Menard's is now restricting people under 16 from entering, though I did see a woman with like 3 kids in there today.
Culver's drive through is always awful

Yeah, Drive Through lines have been crazy. I typically eat lunch out and have been going at 11 to beat the crowds.

I'm genuinely amazed at the number of people in the home improvement box stores on my drive home. I understand people are trying to use some of their free time to do stuff around the house, but it seems excessive (oh, and how do Cabelas and Academy Sporting Goods qualify as essential businesses?)

I cringe every time I'm at the grocery store and see the family with 4 kids running around touching everything. I know a lot of kids need to get out of the house, but control your urchins people.

This is funny, and I don't mean in a "make fun of student" way. He's just funny.
International student has some good questions. I asked if it would be better for me to answer via e-mail or video chat.
He picked e-mail, reason being that he's a century behind on the technology.

Fair enough. It was much nicer than "****, I don't need your ugly face on my screen."

I started some renovations before this all went down so I have to go to Menards to get things.

The busiest drive through has got to be Chik Fil A. They put one near where I work and I swear that increased the traffic worst than CostCo

Yours and MrsWx's, I'd bet..........

Both of ours, the kids and a couple hundred more.

Then we found out that MrsWx nursing program will be pushed back a semester as they will only be offering one class this summer and since there will just be one class they won't qualify for any aid and everything will be out of pocket. F that.

I wasn't getting many spam calls at all and now a bunch of unidentified calls. Suspect they are likely some sort of Covid-19 scam. **** those ********.

Not exactly sure.
So is this preparing us for something like the purge? Lock down and stay at home or take your chances in the great outdoors.

Now happy that we didn’t go to New York. That place is a total mess right now. Got a link that our play is to be refunded soon. So hopefully that hits soon.

Already cancelled a trip out to Maine in July. Did the air bnb, gonna wait to see if the airlines decide to do an actual refund...right now I think it's at least a credit but flying won't be something I want to do for a long time.

We have a credit that has to be used (not booked but used) by the end of the year. If this goes until mid summer, I’m going to push to get to use them in April for a wedding. Prices will probably be 3x what they are now so out 5 tickets will probably buy two but at least get something.

Ames makes their expected school announcement sometime tomorrow.
Probably should script out how to tell the kiddo.
Shoulda bought Kleenex at the store, or maybe some sponges. She's gonna break down.
Good problem to have if she likes school that much. I'm sure she gets top notch instruction at home too so no summer slide.

We were building a plan with her teachers at her conference, which happened to be the night before Spring Break.
They felt (like we did) that she was bored. We were putting the plans together to sneak out and do older grade stuff, and set her up with a job in the Library.

It was a really cool plan. But, like we've been saying in our home the last few days, when we made all our neat plans for 2020, we forgot to plan in the pandemic. So, a plandemic failure, I guess.

Decided to start putting some of the bigger jackasses in the Covid-19 threads on ignore. ******* talk radio parrots and sea lions. The threads have pretty much been destroyed.

A local newspaper tried to do April fools jokes in it since it came out on April’s fools day. One was the local golf course is getting converted into an 18 hole mini golf by Carl Spackler. Old rich guys are mad I’m hearing. They don’t know who Carl Spackler is.

Timing may have been poor seeings how the golf course did just get sold.
