Makes me wonder why they didnt go after Bowen Born harder if they are going after this guy.
Agree. In today’s game it’s best to think you’ll have room in the spring, in the fall.

But maybe Born didn’t want to come?

@jakeweingarten Cal State Northridge graduate transfer Terrell Gomez has heard from Arkansas, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Iowa State, Arizona State, Washington State, DePaul Northridge, amongst others, he told @Stockrisers. Averaged 19.8 points on 44% shooting. Went 111-252 from three.

Wow—-kid is short but was 60-110 on 3’s (54.5%) in the team’s last 17 games. Also led the country in FT% at 94.8%.

Gomez has an idea of what he'll be looking for as he goes through this process.

"Playing fast, shooting threes and a coach with great execution," said Gomez.

44% on 230 attempts is some pretty elite outside shooting and also led the country in FT% as @CyState85 point out. He also has an excellent low turnover rate.

Not surprisingly he's not a great finisher at the rim, poor rebounder, and has poor defensive metrics.

I like him more than the high volume/inefficient Sacred Heart kid but you'd need to land a better player in front of Gomez. He can't be your best add and would be best in the role of a 20 min per game bench gunner.

Alright so after watching his highlights.. he's short BUT.. holy cow can he shoot it lol. I mean this guy reminds me of Keaton Paige from Okie State. He's not afraid to shoot it from anywhere and it goes in 50% of the time. Teams best defenders were usually guarding him too. I'd be concerned about his defense for obvious reasons, but he absolutely works his butt off, I mean at that size he really has to in order to be able to be on the court.

Gomez also has 40 career games with 4 or more made 3’s in a game. I’m all in on him after watching his tape—-he’s the type of player than can cut a 10-12 point deficit quick and there will be plenty of minutes to go around next year.
