The Descent and Hereditary are on Amazon Prime.
Green Room is on Netflix.
All good if you haven't seen them yet.

I really enjoyed The Descent.

The Babadook is on Showtime. I'll probably watch it this weekend. Only saw it one time in the theater so it's about time for a second viewing.

Anyone seen The Perfection on Netflix? It’s going to be a very polarizing movie. I loved it, and it reminded me of Get Out. There are a lot of twists and turns which I love. I don’t want to reveal the plot. It’s best to go in knowing nothing.

What did you think of it? It was different, but I enjoyed Mark Hamill's performance. Some of it was actually somewhat sad/depressing.
It was somewhat better than what I expected, of course my expectations were real low. I would need to watch it again as I was pretty liquored up by the end.

Edit: I watched the second half again, and it isn't awful if you think of it as an original idea.

Watched Anna and The Apocalypse the other day, since it goes well with the current situation. Zombie movie and musical aren’t two things you imagine going together, but it was funny.

Just watched a flick called Blood Fest
A horror festival has been set up on 700 acres with different horror themed areas. Once inside they are locked in and let the real blood fest begin as it is all filmed to make a movie.

I though it was pretty fun

Last night's fest was Hell Fest.
Similar in nature to Blood Fest, a group of friends go to a horror festival which is a series of mazes you need to go through. Of course there's a killer on the lose that for some reason targets this particular group. Fairly standard fare, made pretty decent with an interesting little tidbit right at the end.

Watched The Gallows, Act II, what an awful movie, the story, if you can call it a story, made no sense. Plus it was boring.
It was terrible until the ending, then it got worse.

Last night I watched the remake of the 1977 David Cronenberg film "Rabid"
I haven't seen the original in over 30 years but outside of the basic premise this was completely different. The only similarity I would say was more of a slight shout out to the original near the end.
It wasn't bad. I should probably rewatch the original

Cronenberg had some pretty bizarre ideas. Too bad his technical faculties weren't always up to the forcefulness of his ideas.
