So, we are getting ready to head down to KC today (gonna watch the men tonight - scalping tickets). But our main reason for going was we got all session women's tournament tickets.

So, was curious how many WBB fans will be making the trip to support the women's team. I've never been in municipal arena before, so I'm kind of stoked to see it!

Several fans from TX have backed out because of Corona. But that just gives the rest of the fans more beer to drink.

Planning on going to Friday and Saturday games, so long as they let fans in to watch them play. Other leagues have either cancelled their tournaments or closed doors to the public. Crossing my fingers that ours will go on as planned.

Wow great minds...I was going to post a roll call thread too! Four of us are arriving tomorrow first thing. I expect you will find us all at Quaffs!

They've just announce that each team will be given 125 tickets to hand to family etc. If all 10 teams hand them out that would allow 1250 to attend. That's a pretty large crowd to subject to the virus. I doubt that there would be over 2500 - 3000 actual butts in the seats anyway at the womens tourney. Why not let the other 1250 in ?

Well, I doubt they are all there simultaneously.

Yeah it's 250 total tickets per game and then they clear everybody out after each game.

They have to stop this thing somehow and cutting down exposure is the first step. Italy had over two hundred die in one day this week.

Yeah I'm now hearing 250 max and then they scrub the arena down. Gets more ridiculous by the minute.
Totally disagree.
Glad somebody is demonstrating some leadership over this issue. Your denial will not make the problem go away.

Anyone in KC looking for something to do can go watch future Cyclone Emily Ryan play tonight in Dodge City, KS. It's only...[checks google maps]...a little more than 5 hours away.
